Phase One of LGBTQ+ Pride Monument Now Complete in Northwood Village
WEST PALM BEACH, FL (October 9, 2025) – The City of West Palm Beach proudly announces the completion of the first phase of the LGBTQ+ Pride Monument in Northwood Village, marking a significant milestone in the City’s ongoing commitment to inclusivity and celebration of the LGBTQ+ community.
Located near Spruce Avenue and 25th Street, in a landmark locally known as Serenity Park, the monument showcases a captivating design using the original historic colored LGBTQ+ flag bricks. The redesigned space has been transformed into a vibrant public gathering place and a lasting tribute to the vital contributions of the LGBTQ+ community in West Palm Beach.
The project reflects the collective efforts of the LGBTQ+ community and valued partners such as the Palm Beach County Human Rights Council and Compass Community Center, whose dedication helped bring this vision to life. A second phase will soon add enhanced landscaping and improved lighting to further enrich the space.
The completion of the LGBTQ+ Pride Monument underscores the City’s dedication to fostering an inclusive and welcoming community for all who live, work, and visit West Palm Beach. The City invites the community to visit and enjoy this new landmark.
