About this Volunteer Opportunity

Are you passionate about technology and love sharing your knowledge with others? We're looking for a tech-savvy and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Technology Tutor Volunteer!

As a Technology Tutor Volunteer, you'll have the rewarding opportunity to make a difference in people's lives by teaching them essential technology skills. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting one-on-one or small group technology sessions.
  • Assisting learners in gaining proficiency with computers, smartphones, and other digital devices.
  • Teaching various software applications, internet browsing, email, and social media.
  • Tailoring lessons to meet learners' needs and skill levels.
  • Encouraging confidence and fostering a positive learning environment.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Proficiency in using computers, smartphones, and basic software applications.
  • Strong communication skills and patience to work with learners of varying skill levels.
  • Enthusiasm for helping others and a positive, encouraging attitude.
  • Previous teaching or tutoring experience is a plus but not required. We are always learning from each other.

  • Morning — Mon, Tues, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat
  • Afternoon — Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat
  • Evening — Mon, Tues, Wed, Thu
