City Docks and Sailing Instruction

The Currie Park Boat Docks will be closing Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2025, as part of the Currie Park Redevelopment funded by the 2020 Parks Bond Referendum. The docks are expected to re-open in the pring ot 2027 upon completion of the park renovations. Visit our Boat Docks link below for additional options.
 

 

The City of West Palm Beach's downtown waterfront provides access to the Intracoastal Waterway for all to enjoy.

The docks are open on a first come, first serve basis seven days a week from 5 a.m. to midnight. Use of the docks is free for non-commercial boats. Rafting up is not permitted.

If you don't own a boat, Visit Palm Beach offers recreational opportunities including jet ski/wave runner, paddleboard, and kayak rentals. You can also take a cruise on the Hakuna-Matata Catamaran that calls the Downtown waterfront its home port. For more information: VisitPalmBeach.com.
