The Mayors Alliance to End Childhood Hunger taps into the individual and collective leadership of mayors to take meaningful action to end childhood hunger in cities nationwide. Since the launch of the Mayors Alliance in January 2022, Mayor James is the 444th Mayor from all 50 states and the District of Columbia to join this nonpartisan coalition.
“Everyone deserves access to healthy, nutritious meals, especially our youth. Many families and children face food insecurity every day, and it is initiatives like this that can help change that reality. Together, we can help end food insecurity by providing much-needed relief and resources to families and youth who need it most." — Mayor James.
