City of West Palm Beach Wins 31 Awards at Annual IFEA Convention

Community Events Division receives recognition for GreenMarket, Clematis by Fright, Holiday in Paradise, 4th on Flagler, Soul in the City, and more

 

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (October 16, 2025) — The International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA), the world’s premier organization for festival and event professionals, honored the City of West Palm Beach with 31 awards for its community events. The gold, silver, and bronze accolades were presented at the 70th Annual IFEA Convention & Expo Awards Ceremony, which celebrates outstanding achievement in event production and marketing. Nearly all of the City’s signature events received recognition.

 

“Being recognized on a global stage is an incredible honor and a testament to the excellence we strive for in West Palm Beach,” said Mayor Keith A. James. “I am grateful to our team for their dedication to fostering community pride and creating memorable experiences that our residents and visitors enjoy throughout the year.”

 

The City’s Community Events Division, led by Marketing and Community Events Manager Angela Poco, won 10 gold, 9 silver, and 12 bronze awards in recognition of the event’s ability to drive economic growth and tourism while sparking social and environmental progress. Notable annual and seasonal events include 4th on Flagler, the West Palm Beach GreenMarket, Holiday in Paradise (Sandi Tree), Soul in the City Jazz Experience, Clematis by Fright and more.

“Our mission has always been to design experiences that unite our community and showcase the best of West Palm Beach,” said Poco. “It is deeply rewarding to see so many people enjoy these events, and to have our work recognized alongside such outstanding peers is truly an honor.”

 

Over the past four decades, the Community Events Division has earned more than 600 awards for its creative programming and marketing. This year’s IFEA awards include:
