Dixie Highway Closed Between 21st Street and Northwood Road Following Sewer Main Break

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (December 4, 2025) – The City of West Palm Beach is advising the public of a sewer main break that occurred this afternoon at 23rd Street and Dixie Highway, resulting in the temporary closure of Dixie Highway between 21st Street and Northwood Road.

City crews have successfully stopped the leak, and sewer service remains available to customers in the surrounding area. As repair work continues, both northbound and southbound lanes on Dixie Highway are being rerouted. Motorists are urged to avoid the area and follow posted detours.

The closure will remain in place while crews complete necessary repairs. We will provide updates as more information becomes available and will share another update within 24 hours.
