West Palm Beach Police, Fire Respond to North Tamarind Fire

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (February 8, 2026)  — West Palm Beach Police and Fire Departments responded to a residential fire along the 900 block of 19th Street at around 10 a.m.

All residents exited the home safely, and no injuries were reported.

The home, built in 1926, sustained significant damage. Representatives from the American Red Cross responded to assist displaced residents.

The fire appears to have been accidental and may have been started by a space heater. The exact cause remains under investigation.
