Newsweek | Interview with Columnist Arick Wierson
"Recently, I sat down with Arick Wierson to discuss philanthropic investment partnerships as an approach to financing residential, specifically affordable and workforce housing, development in the City of West Palm Beach. Combating the housing crisis in this country requires an incredible amount of funds — and our City itself does not have sufficient incentives or tax abatements to cure the issues of housing in our local communities. These philanthropic dollars can be key to fueling progress, as is evident when looking at the current development of affordable and workforce housing at The Spruce in Northwood Village, which is a public-private partnership." — Mayor Keith A. James

Run with the Cops Annual Police Fund 5K
Egg Hunt in the Park | Chef Showcase | Run with the Cops 5K
"This past weekend was filled with community and celebration. I was pleased to start off Saturday morning with families from across the City at the annual Egg Hunt in Howard Park. Dozens of children were able to collect eggs and take photos with the Easter bunny. It's always a pleasure to be a part of this event.
Saturday morning I also had the honor of being a judge at the GreenMarket's Chef Showcase competition. Each of the amazing chefs and their teams created incredible dishes and desserts.

Congratulations to the Chef Showcase winners Chef Joey Leuze & Sous Chef Manfred Schmidtke!
Concluding the weekend at the Run with the Cops Annual Police Fund 5K on Sunday was an amazing experience. Thank you to The Police Fund, our sponsors, donors, and all of the participants who ran/walked with our local law enforcement — the average runner takes just under 5,000 steps to complete a 5k, and every step taken that morning was in support and recognition of our first responders in blue."
