Happy Birthday, Alberta!
This past Saturday, Mayor Keith James, RISE and the Coleman Park community came together to wish beloved local resident Ms. Alberta Bailey a happy 107th birthday!
During this special celebration to honor Ms. Bailey's milestone birthday, she was presented with 107 fresh red roses.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating! We love seeing such strong community spirit in Coleman Park.

"During Monday evening's City Commission Meeting, it was my honor to present a proclamation that recognizes the people, programs, and public spaces that help make West Palm Beach a healthy and thriving community.
Each July, we join cities across the country in celebrating National Recreation and Parks Month — an opportunity to spotlight the essential role parks and recreation play in enhancing quality of life, promoting wellness, and strengthening neighborhoods.
Here in West Palm Beach, our Parks and Recreation team delivers year-round programming that reaches every generation — from early learners in after-school care to active older adults, families, and everyone in between.
Whether it's through fitness classes, cultural events, community centers, or neighborhood parks, their work brings our vision of a Community of Opportunity for All to life. Thank you for all that you do, Parks and Recreation.
