During the Annual Clematis by Night Holiday Tree Lighting
The City of West Palm Beach will start the holidays with Sandi’s first synchronized light and music shows, Ferris wheel rides, live music, a holiday boutique, and more!

WHAT: West Palm Beach City officials will lead a large and excited crowd through a countdown to mark the start of Holiday in Paradise Presented by FPL. Beginning the night of the tree lighting, Sandi and the surrounding area will feature synchronized nightly music and light shows every day through Wednesday, December 31. Sandi’s friends and fans are invited to enjoy the magic and memories that take place for thousands of families.
About this year’s Holiday in Paradise:
The City of West Palm Beach is preparing for its festive Holiday in Paradise Presented by FPL. At the center of the month-long celebration is Sandi, the world’s only 35-foot, 700-ton holiday sand tree, and Ferris, a 50-foot Ferris wheel. The annual celebration also features 100 tons of accompanying sand sculptures and lots of free and affordable entertainment. Sandi, Ferris, and all activities will debut on the Great Lawn during the Clematis by Night Holiday Tree Lighting.

Rides on Ferris are available from 6 – 10 p.m. for $5 per person per ride, and rules and restrictions apply.

Sandi’s will host her first ever Symphony of Light show nightly between 6:30 and 7 p.m.

NOTE: Sandi and Ferris run until 10 p.m.; live music, Santa visits and Holiday boutique end at 9 p.m.; there will be two Sandi shows during the lighting, and then continuous shows from 9 p.m. – 10 p.m.

This community celebration is a festive evening filled with holiday cheer in the heart of West Palm Beach’s Historic Northwest District. Attendees will enjoy a special holiday lighting ceremony, West Palm Beach Fire Rescue firing up the grill (while supplies last), and a variety of family-friendly activities, including arts and crafts, roller skating, and a holiday firetruck with snow! The event also includes live entertainment by N2Nation: The Sounds of Motown & More, plus a vibrant performance by Miami Generation Junkanoo, and more.

From 8 p.m. to midnight, the Great Lawn will transform into a rocking New Year’s Eve celebration. There will be a live music performance by rock band On the Roxx, followed by DJ Reflex spinning top hits. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. At midnight, the City, in partnership with the Downtown Development Authority, will ignite a short but explosive grand-finale-style fireworks display over the Intracoastal Waterway. The fireworks are sponsored by the Downtown Development Authority.
