Former West Palm Beach Police Officer Charged with Battery, False Imprisonment
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (September 2, 2025) -- The West Palm Beach Police Department announces the arrest of former officer Justice Feeley-Carim.
Feeley-Carim, 30, turned himself in late Saturday night to the Palm Beach County Main Detention Center on charges of false imprisonment and battery in relation to an incident that occurred while on duty along the 4200 block of 45th Street on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
Feeley-Carim joined the West Palm Beach Police Department on September 24, 2024, and was within his 12-month probationary period at the time of the incident. The misconduct complaint was reported on April 7, 2025, thirteen days after the incident on March 26, 2025. Upon further investigation, Feeley-Carim was placed on paid leave on April 7, 2025, and terminated on April 16, 2025.
"Our officers are held to the highest standards, and they will be held fully accountable, as will every member of this police department," said Chief of Police Tony Araujo. "We will not allow the actions of one to tarnish the honor and integrity of the men and women who proudly serve this community with dedication every day."
The case was handled by the West Palm Beach Police Department's Special Victims Unit (SVU), which determined the behavior to be criminal. As a result, charges were filed.
