West Palm Beach City Hall, the Mandel Public Library and the Grassy Waters Preserve Nature Center will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026, in observance of Memorial Day. Regular trash and garbage pickup services will be provided on a regular schedule. City Hall and Grassy Waters will reopen at 8 a.m., on Tuesday, May 26, 2026; the Mandel Public Library will open at 9:30 a.m.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (September 20, 2025) – The West Palm Beach Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating a missing and endangered teen.
Corniyah A. Jones, 16, was last seen around 6 a.m. Saturday, September 20, in the 700 block of 19th Street.
Jones is approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 135 pounds. She has brown eyes and was last seen wearing a gray crop top, black shorts, and a red wig of unknown length.
