West Palm Beach City Hall, the Mandel Public Library and the Grassy Waters Preserve Nature Center will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026, in observance of Memorial Day. Regular trash and garbage pickup services will be provided on a regular schedule. City Hall and Grassy Waters will reopen at 8 a.m., on Tuesday, May 26, 2026; the Mandel Public Library will open at 9:30 a.m.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (September 25, 2025) — The West Palm Beach Police Department responded to a vehicle vs pedestrian along the 1200 block of Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. around 11:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
Investigators located an individual with life-threatening injuries who was pronounced deceased despite officers attempting life-saving measures.
The investigation is ongoing.
