West Palm Beach City Hall, the Mandel Public Library and the Grassy Waters Preserve Nature Center will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026, in observance of Memorial Day. Regular trash and garbage pickup services will be provided on a regular schedule. City Hall and Grassy Waters will reopen at 8 a.m., on Tuesday, May 26, 2026; the Mandel Public Library will open at 9:30 a.m.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (October 31, 2025) — The West Palm Beach Police Department responded to a motorcycle versus vehicle crash at the intersection of Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. and Australian Ave. around 10:50 p.m. on Halloween.
The driver of the motorcycle was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The intersection of Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. and Australian Ave. is currently closed due to the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
