City of West Palm Beach Begins Routine Maintenance and Exterior Refresh at
Clematis Parking Garage
WEST PALM BEACH, FL (February 26, 2026) – This week, the City of West Palm Beach began exterior painting of the Clematis Parking Garage as part of a maintenance project. As part of this work, the temporary murals on the Clematis Garage are being painted over.
The murals were created more than 10 years ago as part of a temporary public art installation associated with a festival. After more than a decade of exposure to the elements, the murals have naturally faded and worn. As part of routine maintenance, repainting the garage exterior is necessary to refresh the overall appearance of this downtown facility.
The City’s Public Art Department is actively exploring opportunities to reintroduce new public art in the future. The City remains committed to integrating art into public spaces and making creative experiences accessible to everyone.
