City of West Palm Beach to Distribute Free Plastic Recycling Bins to Residents

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (June 18, 2026) — The City of West Palm Beach Public Works Department is making it easier for residents to recycle by distributing 500 free 35-gallon recycling bins designated for plastic materials. The bins will be available to City residents on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

The initiative supports the City’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship by encouraging residents to properly separate recyclable materials and reduce waste sent to landfills.

“Providing residents with the tools they need to recycle is a simple but impactful way to support a cleaner, greener West Palm Beach,” said Calvin Williams, Solid Waste Superintendent. “Every household that participates in recycling helps conserve resources, reduce waste, and protect our environment for future generations.”
