West Palm Beach City Hall, the Mandel Public Library and the Grassy Waters Preserve Nature Center will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026, in observance of Memorial Day. Regular trash and garbage pickup services will be provided on a regular schedule. City Hall and Grassy Waters will reopen at 8 a.m., on Tuesday, May 26, 2026; the Mandel Public Library will open at 9:30 a.m.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (May 3, 2026) — West Palm Beach police responded to a multi-vehicle rollover crash at Okeechobee Boulevard and Spencer Drive around 8:45 p.m. Saturday.
Investigators determined a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed collided with two other vehicles. A passenger in one of the struck vehicles was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. Two other individuals suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
Okeechobee Boulevard at Spencer Drive was closed for several hours as a result of the crash.
The investigation remains ongoing.
