City Hall, the Mandel Public Library, and the Grassy Waters Preserve Nature Center will be closed Monday, Sept. 7, 2026, in observance of the Labor Day Holiday. Regular trash collection will continue on a normal schedule. All City services will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026.

Join us as we share our very own story, Sam the Snail Kite and the Secret of the Everglades. Listen to Sam’s journey and learn about some of the real-life animals behind the characters. Then, get your creativity flowing with a craft to help remember the secret of the Everglades! This program is designed for kids.
