Two Arrested in West Palm Beach Serial Tagging Case

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (September 19, 2025) — The West Palm Beach Police Department arrested Connor Stromoski, 28, and Samuel Lawson, 28, in connection with a series of graffiti-related felonies across the city.

Since February 2025, the tag “SWAMP” has been spray-painted on multiple properties throughout West Palm Beach. Detectives documented each incident, and surveillance footage later identified Stromoski as the primary suspect.

One incident occurred on April 29, 2025, when two men entered a secured rooftop at 313 Datura Street around 11 p.m. Surveillance video showed the pair climbing a rear gate and walking across the roof to where the graffiti was spray-painted. Lawson was identified as the second suspect.

On August 22, officers located Stromoski in West Palm Beach. He was found carrying spray paint, can caps, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. During questioning, Stromoski admitted “SWAMP” was his tag and confessed to two incidents captured on video. He is charged with two counts of burglary of an unoccupied structure, three counts of criminal mischief, one count of marijuana possession, and one count of possession of drug equipment.

Officers located Samuel Lawson on September 6. Lawson is charged with one count of burglary of an unoccupied structure and one count of criminal mischief.
