City of West Palm Beach to Host “One Epic Fourth on Flagler (Celebrating America’s 250th)”
FREE Independence Day celebration to feature live music, fireworks, and laser show
WEST PALM BEACH, FL (June 1, 2026) — The City of West Palm Beach is preparing for a larger-than-ever Independence Day celebration to mark the nation’s 250th anniversary. Residents and visitors should mark their calendars for a spectacular “One Epic Fourth on Flagler” on Saturday, July 4, from 5 to 10 p.m. This free outdoor waterfront event spans Flagler Dr. from Banyan Blvd. to Fern St. and features multiple stages with live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and a wide variety of food and beverage options for purchase. New this year, the celebration will feature The Florida Crystals high-energy laser show synchronized with an 18-minute fireworks display over the Intracoastal Waterway.
"Independence Day on our waterfront is one of West Palm Beach’s most cherished traditions, and this year it carries even greater meaning as we mark 250 years of American Independence,” said Mayor Keith A. James. “With a stunning new laser show to amplify our fireworks and live entertainment across three locations, there is no better place to celebrate America's birthday than right here.”
The evening will include a patriotic ceremony, honoring members of the U.S. military, past and present, followed by the national anthem. Additionally, The Swing Dolls will bring a vintage flair with their signature 1940s harmonies before entertainment hits the stage. As America’s premier Andrews Sisters tribute act, this dynamic vocal trio has delighted audiences nationwide for more than 25 years with timeless classics and nostalgic charm.
Entertainment zones and activities include:
-
NewDay USA Stage (main stage at Flagler Dr. and N. Clematis St.)
Headliner Gotta Groove will keep the party going with high-energy R&B hits spanning decades. This seven-piece band of seasoned musicians delivers crowd-favorite classics from the 1960s through today, complete with original arrangements, standout solos, and powerhouse vocals that keep the dance floor moving.
- Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections Stage (at the Meyer Amphitheater)
DJ Reflex will set the tone with lively beats on the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections Stage in the highly interactive kids’ area! Families can enjoy inflatable activities, such as bounce houses and games (unlimited play is $5 per person), as well as FREE make-and-take Independence Day-themed crafts.
- Palm Beach International Boat Show Stage (at Post Park, 315 S. Flagler Dr.)
Post Park will transform into a country kickback featuring country music and activities, including live music by DJ Kid Karter, line dancing lessons, and mechanical bull rides (for cowboys and cowgirls ages 18+ for $5 per ride).
- BillBone 5K
The 6th annual BillBone 5K begins at 7 p.m. near Post Park (315 South Flagler Drive) and benefits the Wounded Veteran Relief Fund. For more info and to register, visit wpb.org/4th.
