City Hall, the Mandel Public Library, and the Grassy Waters Preserve Nature Center will be closed Monday, Sept. 7, 2026, in observance of the Labor Day Holiday. Regular trash collection will continue on a normal schedule. All City services will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (March 30, 2026) — The West Palm Beach Police Department responded to the 700 block of Tamarind Avenue around 8:10 a.m. following a report of a deceased individual.
Upon arrival, detectives located an individual experiencing homelessness who appeared to have died from a drug overdose.
The investigation is ongoing.
