Get started with computers, or practice your skills. Friendly volunteers are available to get you started using a computer, or answer questions about Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, email, uploads, downloads, and more.

Drop-ins are welcome, but seating may be limited.

Need help with a specific tech question or challenge? We offer experienced staff to help strengthen technology skills and jump start learning through one-on-one sessions.

Mentor appointments are intended to encourage members to actively engage and accomplish tasks on their own.

Email is required to make an appointment. Need an email account? Drop in one of our open workshops and we can help.

Please note that mentors do not assist with any hardware repair or installation.

What is AI?

You probably already know that AI is short for artificial intelligence, but what does that mean exactly? AI refers to computer programs trained to do complex actions that usually require human brain power — and potentially a lot of time and effort — to accomplish. Simply put, AI can help with challenging tasks. When you learn to use AI tools effectively in your job, it can help you speed through some of those not-so-fun, routine tasks you dread to tackle, which can give you the time and space you need to concentrate on big-picture thinking or reach your goals more quickly.
