City Hall, Mandel Public Library, Grassy Waters to Close in Observance of the Thanksgiving Holidays
WEST PALM BEACH, FL – West Palm Beach City Hall, the Mandel Public Library, the Grassy Waters Preserve Nature Center, and all non-essential services will be closed on Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28, 2025, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Thanksgiving Holiday Trash Collection Schedule
Thursday, November 27 (Thanksgiving Day)

Residential: No service. Collection will resume on your next scheduled service day.

Recycling: No service. Collection will resume on your next scheduled service day.

Bulk/Yard Waste: Service will be delayed by one day.

Commercial: Service will be delayed by one day.
Friday, November 28 (Day After Thanksgiving)

Residential: On schedule.

Recycling: On schedule.

Bulk/Yard Waste: Service will be delayed by one day.

Grassy Waters will reopen at 8 a.m., on Saturday, November 29, 2025; the Mandel Public Library will open at 9:30 a.m.
City Hall will reopen at 8 a.m. on Monday, December 1, 2025.
Mayor Keith A. James, the West Palm Beach City Commission, and entire City staff wish all a happy and safe Thanksgiving holiday.
