City Hall, Mandel Public Library, Grassy Waters to Close in Observance of the Christmas and New Year’s Day Holidays

 

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – West Palm Beach City Hall, the Mandel Public Library, the Grassy Waters Preserve Nature Center and Cypress Boardwalk Trail, and all non-essential services will be closed on Thursday, December 25, 2025, and Friday, December 26, 2025, in observance of Christmas, and on Thursday, January 1, 2026, in observance of New Year’s Day.

Christmas Holiday Operating Schedule

City Hall

  • Reopens at 8 a.m. on Monday, December 29

    Mandel Public Library

  • Closes early at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 24

  • Reopens at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 27

    Grassy Waters Preserve Nature Center & Cypress Boardwalk Trail

  • Reopen at 8 a.m. on Saturday, December 27

  • All other trails remain open throughout the holiday period

    Christmas Day Trash Collection - Thursday, December 25

  • Residential: No service. Collection will resume on your next scheduled service day.

  • Recycling: No service. Collection will resume on your next scheduled service day.

  • Bulk/Yard Waste: Service will be delayed by one day through the remainder of the week.

  • Commercial: Service will be delayed by one day through the remainder of the week.

    New Year’s Holiday Operating Schedule

    City Hall

  • Reopens at 8 a.m. on Friday, January 2

Mandel Public Library

  • Closes early at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31

  • Reopens at 9:30 a.m. on Friday January 2

Grassy Waters Preserve Nature Center & Cypress Boardwalk Trail

  • Reopen at 8 a.m. on Friday, January 2

  • All other trails remain open throughout the holiday period

New Year’s Day Trash Collection - Thursday, January 1

  • Residential: No service. Collection will resume on your next scheduled service day.

  • Recycling: On schedule.

  • Bulk/Yard Waste: Service will be delayed by one day through the remainder of the week.

  • Commercial: Service will be delayed by one day through the remainder of the week.
