City Hall, the Mandel Public Library and Grassy Waters Nature Center will be closed Monday, Oct. 13, 2025, in observance of the Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples Day holiday. Regularly schedule trash collection services will continue on schedule. City Hall and the Grassy Waters Nature Center will reopen at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025, and the Mandel Public Library at 9:30 a.m.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (August 1, 2025) - The West Palm Beach Police Department conducted a prostitution operation on Thursday, July 31, targeting criminal activity in the city.
Six individuals were arrested throughout the city for Solicitation of Prostitution and transported to the Palm Beach County Jail, pursuant to FSS 796.07(2)(e).
During the operation, officers conducted a traffic stop on 28-year-old Arthur Edwards after observing traffic infractions. Edwards had knowledge of a suspended license and was arrested. A search of Edward’s vehicle yielded 32.7 grams of cocaine and a firearm. Edwards was charged with cocaine trafficking, possession with intent to sell, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, driving with a suspended license, and two traffic infractions.
