Second Annual West Palm Beach GreenMarket Master Chef Showcase Finale
On Saturday, April 12, five esteemed local chefs will face off in the Master Chef Showcase finale

What: The City of West Palm Beach invites locals and visitors to cheer on their favorite chef during the West Palm Beach GreenMarket’s second-ever Master Chef Showcase Finale. The finale will feature five semi-finalists: Chef Peter                      Bartalini from Laura Ashley Catering & Events, Chef Joey Leuze from Palm Beach Catering, Chef Brett Portier from Pepe’s Hey Babe!, Chef Rasheed from Olive Oil of the World, Chef Boris Seymore from Georgia Mae’s and BDS Catering & Productions – as they chop, sauté and serve their dishes to a panel of judges comprised of community leaders, including Mayor Keith A. James. New this season, the finale will include a mystery box challenge where each chef must create dishes using secret ingredients revealed on the spot. Judges will pick the winning dish based on presentation, flavor and originality, crowning one chef the “West Palm Beach GreenMarket Master Chef” title.

Before or after the competition, spectators are encouraged to shop at the GreenMarket’s 130+ vendors, featuring a variety of fresh products, including fruits and vegetables, coffees and teas, flowers and plants, homemade specialty items, desserts and treats, and so much more. Celebrating its 30th anniversary season, the West Palm Beach GreenMarket is “Seasoned to Perfection” and will conclude on April 26, 2025.

When: Saturday, April 12, 2025

GreenMarket is from 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

The Master Chef Showcase is from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Where: Great Lawn 100 N. Clematis Street, West Palm Beach, FL 33401

Details: The GreenMarket is held every Saturday through April 26, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Admission to the GreenMarket is free. Dogs on short leashes are allowed. Parking is available in the City’s public garages: Clematis, Banyan, City Center, Sapodilla, and Evernia. The Banyan and Evernia garages are closest to the event and are subject to the City’s all-day weekend flat rate of $5. The City Center, Clematis, and Sapodilla garages are free during market hours, with current parking rates in effect afterward. Those interested in arriving by boat can also take advantage of the City’s free public docks. The Clematis Street Dock is the closest dock to the market.
