Celebrating Women’s History — This Month and Every Month!
Throughout March, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and lasting impact of women who have shaped our history and continue to inspire our future. In honor of Women's History Month, we recognize innovative trailblazers and everyday heroes alike — and the powerful contributions they make in our community each day.

Helping the homeless has been a major objective of Mayor Keith A. James — and to meet the needs of the homeless, he created the City’s 10-person Homeless Advocacy and Response Team (HART) within the City's Housing and Community Development Department. Don't Forget About Daylight Saving Time and to Replace Your Smoke, CO2 and Carbon Monoxide Detector Batteries!
As Daylight saving time approaches, the City of West Palm Beach urges residents to spring forward on Sunday, March 8, at 2 a.m. While adjusting your clocks, take a moment to focus on an essential aspect of home safety — regularly changing the batteries in smoke, CO2 and carbon monoxide detectors.
"Daylight Saving Time not only marks a shift in our clocks but also serves as a timely reminder to prioritize safety in our homes," said Mayor Keith A. James. "We encourage all residents to take a few moments to check their smoke, CO2 and carbon monoxide detectors, ensuring they are in proper working order. It's a simple yet vital step towards protecting our families and communities."
Let's spring forward responsibly and prioritize fire safety in our homes!
