This month, City staff wore green in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month as a reminder that mental health matters. Together, we help foster a community rooted in compassion and understanding, where everyone feels empowered to prioritize their mental wellbeing and seek support when needed.
FY 2026-2027 Annual Action Plan | Needs Assessment Public Meeting
The City of West Palm Beach Department of Housing and Community Development invites residents, organizations serving low- and moderate-income persons and special needs populations, and other interested parties to participate in a community meeting to provide input on the FY 2026-2027 Annual Action Plan.
The Annual Action Plan allocates federal CDBG, HOME, and HOPWA funding to address the housing, public services, homelessness, and public facilities and infrastructure needs of primarily low- and moderate-income individuals and families. Join us to help inform the best use of these resources to address the priority needs of our residents.

Also widely known as AAPI Heritage Month, this observance celebrates the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities that continue to shape and strengthen our nation and our City.
Jewish American Heritage Month
This month honors the achievements, resilience, and historical contributions of Jewish Americans, while recognizing the lasting impact Jewish communities have had on our nation’s cultural, civic, and economic fabric — and right here in our City.
Haitian Heritage Month
An expansion of Haitian Flag Day, Haitian Heritage Month celebrates the vibrant traditions, art, history, and enduring contributions of the Haitian diaspora, recognizing the many ways Haitian culture enriches communities across the United States — including here in West Palm Beach.
