Mayor Keith A. James Appoints Jade Greene as City’s LGBTQ+ Liaison
WEST PALM BEACH, FL (June 1, 2026) – Mayor Keith A. James has appointed Jade Greene, Director of Housing and Community Development for the City of West Palm Beach, as the City’s LGBTQ+ Liaison, a volunteer role that serves as a bridge between the City and the LGBTQ+ community.
“West Palm Beach is committed to being a welcoming and inclusive community where every resident is valued and respected,” said Mayor Keith A. James. “Jade’s leadership, passion for public service, and commitment to building strong community connections make her an excellent choice for this important role. I am confident she will serve as a trusted partner and advocate as we work to ensure West Palm Beach remains a community of opportunity for all.”
As Director of Housing and Community Development, Greene works closely with residents, community organizations, and stakeholders to expand opportunities and improve quality of life throughout West Palm Beach. In her new role as LGBTQ+ Liaison, she will help strengthen communication, build relationships, and ensure residents and organizations are connected with City resources.
West Palm Beach has been a leader in LGBTQ+ equality for more than two decades and continues to champion policies and initiatives that promote diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity. The City remains committed to ensuring all residents feel welcomed, represented, and supported.
“I am honored to serve as the City’s LGBTQ+ Liaison,” said Greene. “I look forward to listening, learning, and working alongside community members to strengthen relationships, advance inclusion, and help ensure that everyone feels a sense of belonging in West Palm Beach.”
