City Hall, Mandel Public Library, and Grassy Waters to Close July 3–4, 2026, in Observance of Independence Day

 

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – West Palm Beach City Hall, the Mandel Public Library, and the Grassy Waters Preserve Nature Center will be closed on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. Regular trash and garbage pickup services will be provided on a regular schedule. Grassy Waters will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 5; the Mandel Public Library will reopen at 1 p.m. that day. City Hall will reopen at 8 a.m. on Monday, July 6.

The City invites residents and visitors to join in the annual 4th on Flagler celebration on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The evening will feature live entertainment, family-friendly activities, food and beverage vendors, and The Florida Crystals high energy laser show synchronized with an 18-minute fireworks display over the Intracoastal Waterway. This celebration will also air live from 9 to 9:30 p.m. during WPBF 25 Presents 4th on Flagler: Celebrating America250 on WPBF 25.
