West Palm Beach Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with Two Times the Fun
Special editions of Clematis by Night and Nights in Northwood will feature live Latin music, dancing, local vendors, and cultural experiences
WEST PALM BEACH, FL (Sept. 22, 2026) — The City of West Palm Beach invites residents and visitors to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with back-to-back evenings of free, family-friendly entertainment, including live music, dancing, and cultural experiences at Clematis by Night and Nights in Northwood on Sept. 24 and 25. By incorporating Hispanic Heritage Month programming into two of the city's signature event series, the City is expanding opportunities for residents and visitors to engage with local Hispanic culture and businesses.
The celebration kicks off Thursday, Sept. 24, with a special Hispanic Heritage Month edition of Clematis by Night on the downtown West Palm Beach waterfront (100 N. Clematis Street). From 6 to 9 p.m., guests can enjoy salsa music from Luis Manuel & The Charambo Band, Latin dance lessons, domino tables, trivia, local nonprofits, and Latin food offerings.
The festivities continue Friday, Sept. 25, as Nights in Northwood takes over Northwood Road from 6 to 9 p.m. The evening will pair Latin-inspired entertainment with the unique restaurants, shops, Latin dance lessons, domino tables and creative energy that define Northwood Village.
"Hispanic Heritage Month is an opportunity to recognize the many cultures, traditions, and contributions that enrich our community," said Mayor Keith A. James. "Our award-winning Community Events Division consistently creates opportunities to bring our community together through music, food, and shared experiences while celebrating the diversity that helps make West Palm Beach such a vibrant city. We hope everyone will make time to enjoy one or both of these special-edition events in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month."
From salsa rhythms on the waterfront to dancing under the lights in Northwood Village, both events offer residents and visitors a chance to experience the energy, artistry and cultural influence of Hispanic communities throughout South Florida.
