City of West Palm Beach Invites Public to Artist Talk with Davina Semo

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (October 27, 2026) — The City of West Palm Beach’s Art in Public Places (AiPP) program invites the public to attend an Artist Talk with visual artist Davina Semo. Hosted by the Armory Art Center, the talk is scheduled for Thursday, November 5, at 10 a.m. The event is free and open to the public, and advance registration is required.

Join artist Davina Semo for an in-depth discussion about her art practice and her new site-specific commission for Currie Park. Ahead of her first permanent large-scale public art installation, Semo will share her perspective and continued exploration of the resonant qualities of bells. Her work reimagines the traditional bell forms and is finished with varying combinations of patination, texture, and decorative elements. Semo’s bells intentionally invite the public to ring them, producing harmonious tonalities.
