West Palm Beach City Hall, the Mandel Public Library and the Grassy Waters Preserve Nature Center will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026, in observance of Memorial Day. Regular trash and garbage pickup services will be provided on a regular schedule. City Hall and Grassy Waters will reopen at 8 a.m., on Tuesday, May 26, 2026; the Mandel Public Library will open at 9:30 a.m.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (January 12, 2026) — The West Palm Beach Department responded to a ShotSpotter alert along the 400 block of Erie Place around 8:45 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers located an individual suffering from a gunshot wound. The individual was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
