WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (February 23, 2026) — The West Palm Beach Police and Fire Rescue Departments responded to a single vehicle crash at the intersection of Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard and Flagler Drive around 5:10 a.m.
Officers on scene determined a vehicle crashed into the sea wall and traveled into the Intracoastal Waterway. The driver was rescued from the water and transported to an area hospital, but later succumbed to his injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
