West Palm Beach Police Arrest Man in Downtown Graffiti Vandalism Investigation

WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (June 3, 2026) — A West Palm Beach man has been arrested after a graffiti vandalism spree that damaged multiple locations along South Flagler Drive and a downtown construction site.

Officers determined that on May 23, Xavier Imre, 29, used green spray paint to mark the words "FIDER" and "WKT" at numerous locations between the 200 and 600 blocks of South Flagler Drive.

The investigation revealed that Imre spray-painted a median, seawall, dumpster, and the Cove Boardwalk with the markings. Investigators also uncovered that Imre vandalized a construction site at 777 S. Flagler Drive after entering the fully fenced property. Once inside, he tagged hurricane-impact windows, concrete pillars, and other property with the same markings.

During the investigation, detectives obtained a confession from Imre. A consensual search of his vehicle led to the recovery of several cans of spray paint, including green paint, as well as graffiti stickers and drawings.

Imre was arrested and charged with burglary of a structure, causing damage of $1,000 or more, and criminal mischief, causing property damage, with a prior conviction.
