28-Year-Old Man Killed in Hit-and-Run; Police Seek Public's Help

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (July 6, 2026) — The West Palm Beach Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a 28-year-old man early Monday along South Olive Avenue.

Officers responded to the 4900 block of S. Olive Avenue around 1:50 a.m. and found Connor Blais dead in the roadway. An electric scooter was located nearby. The driver fled the scene without stopping to render aid or report the crash.

Investigators believe the suspect vehicle may have sustained damage to its front end or passenger side.

Blais was returning home from work at a local restaurant when the crash occurred.

Detectives are asking residents in the Southend neighborhood, particularly those with security cameras along South Olive Avenue between Russlyn Drive and Pilgrim Road, to review footage recorded between 1:20 a.m. and 1:50 a.m. Monday.
