WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (February 12, 2026) — West Palm Beach Police and Fire Departments responded to a commercial fire along the 1100 of Okeechobee Rd. around 1:15 p.m.
The business, a metal recycling facility, was processing a scrap vehicle when the fire ignited.
The fire appears to be accidental and the exact cause remains under investigation.
A portion of Okeechobee Rd. was closed while first responders were on scene.
