Celebrating years of dedication and local entrepreneurship as Darren opens his first brick-and-mortar restaurant. Having served delicious BBQ from his food trailer for over 15 years, Darren applied for the CRA's Relocation and Development Assistance Grant. He is now able to have formal seating and an expanded menu, ready to serve the good eats to more customers! D'Best BBQ is located at: 1020 N. Tamarind Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33401.

Celebrating a historical site and safe haven for the LGBTQ community, as AJ and Randy re-open Rooster's to the public. After a devastating fire, community partners banded together and with the help of the City's Building Improvement Grant, this entertainment space is back and better than ever! H.G. Rooster's is open daily and they are located at: 823 Belvedere Rd., West Palm Beach, FL 33401.

Celebrating an icon of the Historic Northwest, as Kenneth Allen opens a new & improved Hamburger Haven. Through public and private partnerships, the restaurant (est. 1947) was able to take on a major rehabilitation. Fans noted it has not lost its traditions or flavor. Over 100 customers, friends, and family were in attendance. Hamburger Haven serves its popular burgers and hotdogs and they are located at: 1018 N. Tamarind Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33401.

Celebrating minority-owned, female small business owners as Liliana, her daughters, and business partners open a Morelia Gourmet Paletas franchise. Paletas are the Mexican name for popsicles, usually fruit infused. Morelia’s ice pops, however, are bigger than normal and artisanal. Customers can choose from over 20 different flavors, 4 type of warm dipping, and over 12 additional toppings, creating endless combinations. Celebrating Dmitry and Daria, owners of SugaringNYC, as they are awarded the Building Improvement Grant for their base of operations. The expansion helps logistics for the manufacturing and distribution of their organic hair removal products. This project boasts a total investment of $1.4 million dollars with 25 jobs created including: machine operators, warehouse associates, and marketing staff. Investment in the Industrial Park area of the City was much appreciated. Thank you for choosing West Palm Beach!
