The United States celebrated 250 years as a nation in 2026, but do you realize that the US Constitution was drafted only 239 years ago? Today, Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026, is the anniversary of Founding Fathers drafting this iconic document. I was proud to proclaim this week as Constitution Week, and present the proclamation to Susan Earle of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).
