BBQ, Brews & Blues will bring together some of South Florida’s best barbecue restaurants and food trucks for an afternoon of smoky flavor, friendly competition and plenty of reasons to sample more than one plate.
BBQ Throwdown Participating barbecue vendors will compete for $1,500 in prize money and bragging rights. Judges will select the first-place winner, who will take home $1,000 and the coveted BBQ, Brews & Blues trophy. People’s Choice Eventgoers will have a say, too. Each attendee will receive a token to vote for a favorite BBQ vendor, with the People’s Choice winner earning $500. Fire Grill Drill First responders will go helmet to helmet in a 90-minute barbecue showdown for the title of Best Firehouse BBQ. The winning station will receive a $500 donation for the charity of its choice.
