Create your own videos, interviews, tutorials, or digital content in the Technology & Innovation Center’s film recording space. Reserve the room for up to four hours and bring your ideas to life using your own equipment or borrow our available gear.

Bring a USB drive, SD card, or cloud login information to save and export your footage.

  • A library card and reservation are required to use the space.
  • Reservations may be made up to 48 hours in advance of your filming date.
  • Please review the TIC Filming Guidelines before booking.

Guidelines for Film Time

To book the Technology & Innovation Center for filming, as well as check out the equipment for filming, patrons must:

  • Have a Mandel Public Library card in good standing with borrowing privileges (no outstanding fines and not expired). Every person using the space must have a library card.

  • Keep filming inside of the Technology & Innovation Center only.

  • Keep noise to a regular speaking volume at maximum. The space is not soundproof.

  • Note that furniture may not be moved, and other library equipment may not be used without prior approval.

  • Abide by the 4-hour booking time in the room. This includes set up and tear down. Staff will not be available to assist with managing or setting up personal equipment. You are expected to be out the door by the end of the 4-hour period, not just starting to break down.

  • Have a maximum of six people in the room at any time. This includes everyone in the room, not just those actively working.

  • Save and download your own work. Work saved on our equipment will not remain. Use online storage, or bring your own device, download the video and clear the library SD card, or bring a personal SD card for use with our camera.
